Some other things you can do with this free DJ app is adding instruments and effects through VST plugins, use a built-in metronome, and mix to MP3 or burn the data to a disc.

Jul 28, 2018  So the Keyscape folder appears in my Omnisphere 2 browser but there's no sound and it looks like the files are not loading. The rest of the Omnisphere's libary works this is the location where I put the keyscape files and I've also manually moved each. The Keyscape sounds open in Omnisphere 2 which let’s you load multiple sounds at once like the method you suggested @brad. As you said this would be a more stable way of doing things because Omnisphere 2 would load everything at one time and accept different midi channels per sound. Keyscape in omnisphere 2 no sound. Mar 07, 2018  I've noticed that often when I load projects with Keyscape or Omnisphere instruments, those two instruments (and only those two) make no sound until I re-load the sound in the GUI. The sound 'looks' like its loaded in the UI, loading is 'Complete', and the notes are being triggered in the Maschine tracks, but I can't get it to make sound unless.

Recently I wanted to find a way to seamlessly do sound effects over top of voice without having to switch tracks. I tried mucking around with Mixxx's interface without success.
Then I found EXP Soundboard. Together with the VB-Audio Virtual Cable, I can play sound effects through Mixxx like a pro.
Setup:

1) Have Mixxx installed
2) Have VB-Audio Virtual Cable installed (download)
3) Install EXP Soundboard (download)
4) Within EXP Soundboard, under the '1st Output' drop-down near the bottom, choose 'CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)'
5) Add your sound effect MP3s and WAVs to your EXP sound clip library
6) Within Mixxx, go into Preferences > Sound Hardware > Input and set 'Cable Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)' as your Auxiliary 1
7) Keep EXP Soundboard open to the side on air

 

Free Sounds For Mixcraft 7

Adjust volume as necessary, and while on air, play whatever sound effect you want through EXP. Adjust the Aux 1 volume control in Mixxx as necessary.

Note: VB-audio is also used in Code Warrior's method to pipe Skype calls into Mixxx.
